How much does a mobile bartender cost in Oklahoma City?

Our Basic Bar Package starts at $1,000 — one bartender for up to 5 hours and 75 guests, including setup and cleanup. From there you can add a second bartender ($300), a custom signature cocktail ($100), fresh homemade syrups ($3/guest), and more.

What does dry-hire bartending mean?

Dry-hire means you purchase the alcohol and we handle everything else — the bartender, mixers, garnishes, setup, and cleanup. You buy alcohol at retail prices instead of paying venue markups, so it keeps your costs down.

Do you provide the alcohol for events?

No — as a dry-hire service, our clients provide all the alcohol. We’ll give you a shopping list based on your guest count and drink menu so you buy exactly what you need.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Our bartenders hold Oklahoma ABLE seller/server certification, and we carry both liquor liability and general liability insurance. (We’re dry-hire, so we serve the alcohol you provide — we never sell it.)

What areas do you serve?

We’re based in the OKC metro and include a 50-mile radius from Moore at no extra charge — covering Oklahoma City, Norman, Edmond, Yukon, Mustang, and surrounding towns. We serve all of Oklahoma; events beyond 50 miles have a $2-per-mile one-way travel fee.

How far in advance should I book?

As soon as you have your date — we’re currently booking 2027 and 2028. Popular Saturdays go fast, especially April through October, so 6–12 months out is ideal.

What’s included in the Basic Bar Package?

One professional bartender, up to 5 hours of service, up to 75 guests, portable bar and full bar setup, plus complete setup and cleanup. You bring the alcohol; we bring everything else.

How many bartenders do I need?

A good rule of thumb is one bartender per 50–75 guests. For larger crowds or faster service at peak times, add a second bartender for $300.

Can you create a signature cocktail for our event?

Absolutely — it’s one of our favorite things to do. A custom signature cocktail (like a his-and-hers pair for weddings) is $100, including a tasting so it’s perfect before the big day. We also do Story Toppers: your memories printed onto edible drink toppers ($3/guest).

Do you offer tastings before the event?

Yes! When you book ahead, we can schedule a tasting to try cocktail options and finalize your drink menu.

What’s your deposit and cancellation policy?

A 50% non-refundable retainer reserves your date, with the remaining balance and final guest count due 14 days before the event.

Is gratuity included?

We ask for a $250 minimum gratuity per bartender, and you’re welcome to set out a tip jar so guests can show extra love.

What if my guest count changes?

Just give us your final count 14 days before the event and we’ll adjust staffing, supplies, and your quote.

Do you make mocktails?

Yes — beautiful mocktails and drink stations, so every guest has something special in hand.

Do I need to buy my own alcohol for a mobile bartender?

With The Social Pour, yes — we’re dry-hire, so you purchase the alcohol and we handle the rest. Most clients prefer it this way: buying at retail saves a lot over venue markups, and we’ll give you a precise shopping list so nothing goes to waste.

How many drinks should I plan per person for a wedding?

Plan on about one drink per guest per hour — so 100 guests over 4 hours is roughly 400 drinks across beer, wine, and cocktails. When you book with us, we turn your guest count and menu into an exact shopping list.

How far in advance should I book a bartender for my wedding?

Six to twelve months ahead is ideal — we’re booking 2027 and 2028 now, and prime Saturdays from April through October go first. If your date’s still open on shorter notice, we’ll make it happen — just ask.

Do mobile bartenders bring their own bar setup?

We do. The Social Pour brings a portable bar and complete bar setup — tools, coolers, garnish stations, everything needed to run a full-service bar anywhere. If your venue already has a bar area, we can work with that too.

Can I create a custom cocktail menu for my event?

Yes — custom menus are one of our specialties. We’ll design drinks around your theme, colors, or story (his-and-hers is a wedding favorite), then print beautiful menus and signage for the bar. Custom signature cocktails start at $100.

Does The Social Pour provide non-alcoholic options?

Absolutely. We make handcrafted mocktails that look and feel just as special as the cocktails, plus dedicated non-alcoholic drink stations so every guest has something worth celebrating with.

Can I hire a bartender for a corporate event in Oklahoma City?

Yes — corporate events are one of our specialties, from office holiday parties to client receptions. We’re licensed and insured, provide invoices and certificates of insurance for your venue or accounting department, and can scale staffing for any group size.

Do you handle large company events with 200 or more guests?

Absolutely. We add bartenders ($300 each) and servers ($200 each) to keep lines short — typically one bartender per 50–75 guests. Give us your headcount and we’ll build the right team.

Do you provide invoices and vendor paperwork for corporate clients?

Yes. We provide itemized invoices and can supply a certificate of insurance if your venue requires it. Just tell us what your company needs when you book.

Can you do a cash bar for our company party?

We don’t do cash bars — under Oklahoma law, selling drinks by the glass requires a liquor license, and we’re a dry-hire service. Most companies host the bar instead (you cover the alcohol and our services), which keeps you compliant and your guests happy.

Can you create branded cocktails for our company event?

Yes, and we love doing it. We’ll design cocktails in your brand colors, name them after your company or event theme, and print custom menus and signage — a great touch for launches, holiday parties, and client events.

Can I hire a bartender for a birthday party at home?

Definitely — home and backyard parties are some of our favorites. We bring the portable bar and full setup to you, turning your living room or patio into a real cocktail bar for the night. You supply the alcohol; we handle the rest.

How much does a bartender cost for a private party?

Our Basic Bar Package starts at $1,000 — one bartender for up to 5 hours and 75 guests, including setup and cleanup. Most birthdays, anniversaries, and backyard parties fit comfortably in that package.

What do I need to provide for a bartender at a house party?

Just the alcohol and a spot to set up. We bring the bar, tools, mixers, garnishes, and coolers — plus a simple checklist ahead of time so you’re fully prepared.

Do you clean up after the party?

Yes — setup, bar breakdown, and cleanup are included in every package. When the last guest leaves, we pack up and leave the space the way we found it, so you actually get to enjoy your own party.

Do you bartend holiday parties and graduation parties?

We do both — and they’re some of our busiest seasons, themed cocktails included. Our Halloween-through-New-Year’s calendar fills fast, so book December dates early. Same goes for May graduations.

How much alcohol should I buy for my wedding?

About one drink per guest per hour, plus two in the first hour — but the exact count depends on your crowd and bar style. Use our free wedding alcohol calculator for your exact shopping list.
